1. Grains and Flour (The Foundations)

  • Atta (Whole Wheat Flour): The most critical item for making fresh Rotis (flatbreads).

  • Basmati Rice: Used for plain rice or Kheer (sweet rice pudding).

  • Maida (All-purpose Flour): Sometimes used for specific snacks or Pakwan.

2. Lentils and Legumes (Dal)

  • Black Gram (Maah Di Dal): A staple for traditional Langar Dal.

  • Yellow Moong / Chana Dal: Frequently used for various lentil preparations.
